Support new entrepreneurs in New York by joining the NYBPC as an organizer, sponsor, supporter, mentor, judge or volunteer.

Organizer: The NYBPC is New York’s statewide, intercollegiate business plan competition, and its organizers span the state and include university representatives and business and investment professionals. If you’re involved in the entrepreneurial and investment ecosystem in New York and have a passion for supporting student entrepreneurs, we want to hear from you!

Sponsor: Gain visibility and build relationships with business leaders, investors, collegiate professionals and students from across New York State, while getting a sneak peak at new technologies and innovations. Help strengthen New York’s economic vibrancy and the entrepreneurial ecosystem that makes enterprising students want to stay work and live in New York State. Become an NYBPC sponsor.

Supporter: Help the NYBPC get the word about our programs, our events and our students! Become an ambassador for student entrepreneurship through your network and help make sure this opportunity is not missed.

Mentor: If you’re a member of the business community and have a passion for guiding student entrepreneurs toward success, consider becoming a mentor. Mentorship gives you the opportunity to get involved with the next generation of entrepreneurs and get recognized for stepping up in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The NYBPC Mentorship Program will begin monthly in the Fall.

Judge: The benefits of judging include early access to emerging startups, connections with investors and business leaders who are judging, recognition in the community, and satisfaction for paying it forward by helping young entrepreneurs. Judging makes it easy to stay connected and provide regional diversity to students across the state.

Volunteer: Have a particular skill or talent that could help elevate the NYBPC experience? We are looking for volunteers to help our organizers prepare the competition both in advance of and at the event-day competition.
