Ryan Chin
Ryan Chin involvement with the Prism Project is part of his ongoing efforts to help Sacramento at an organization, community, county level. He has worked with organizations such as the Northern California Asian Peace Officers Association and the Council of Asian Pacific Islanders Together for Advocacy and Leadership (CAPITAL) to improve their communications and visibility. He currently serves as a Commissioner on the Sacramento County Policy Planning Commission – where he hears land use policy issues such as community plan amendments, general plan amendments and multi-entitlement applications.
Jennifer Choy
As a physician at Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Jennifer Choy knows first-hand the need for culturally appropriate mental health and domestic violence services. She is working within Kaiser and in the community to offer the education and social services that will help prevent domestic violence in the APIA and other minority communities.
Jennie Lee
Jennie Lee brings wealth of community involvement and management to the Prism Project. Her community service includes being a past President of the Sacramento Chinese Community Service Center to a current board member of the Pacific Rim Festival Foundation – Ms. Lee understands how community based organizations can make a difference. As a professor at Yuba College, Ms. Lee has seen the necessity of working with young adults to help them appreciate their community and opportunities.
Alice Wong
With an intimate knowledge of domestic violence and history of community leadership, Ms. Wong offers the Prism Project a unique perspective on fulfilling the community needs for mental health and domestic violence services, youth and family education, and community awareness. Ms. Wong and Jerry Chong form the Law Offices of Jerry L. Chong and Alice W. Wong and are outspoken advocates for minority communities in Sacramento.
