The CAPITAL Foundation continually seeks and funds educational programs that help build community strength.

CAPITAL Foundation Scholarship	2006 - 2007 2003 - 2004	2003-2004: The CAPITAL Foundation partnered with over 60 CAPITAL member organizations to award over $105,000 in scholarships.
The CAPITAL Tutoring Project	2006 - 2007 2005 - 2006	The ongoing CAPITAL Tutoring Project brings together students from the Ethnic Studies (ES) Department at Sacramento State University and local high school students with the purpose of providing tutoring and mentoring in English and math classes. The goal of the Tutoring Project is to increase passing rate and standardized English and math test scores. ES students, some of whom graduated from local high schools, serve as positive role models that inspire and encourage the younger students to strive to attend college.
Friends of the California State Fair Scholarship	2005 - 2006 2004 - 2005	Provided funds for and awarded scholarships for one API attending a 4-year college and two API students attending a junior college or trade school.
